§ Dear Poets and Readers,

Welcome to the October~December 2008 issue of Poetry Life & Times.

Christopher Barnes, Richard James, Tendai R Mwanaka,
Amparo Arrospide, Don McIver and M. Dillon Edwards are Featured Poets.§

§ This issue we introduce two new contributors to PLT, Don McIver and M. Dillon Edwards, as well as new recents Tendai R Mwanaka and Chistopher Barnes, our long time contributor & editor of Ancient Heart, Richard van der Draay, who emigrates to Australia and starts it up as a new a poetry blog (for more information, read in the feature poet section) and our Co-Editor, Amparo Arrospide's poems, written not translated, in English.

§ The Resident poets page stays as always with Sara L. Russell , Jim Dunlap, Helga Ross and Robin Ouzman Hislop, but this issue now includes in the Resident section the last part of his new collection, A Thin Crust Peels, which also apears in PLT in its complete edition.

§ As PLT has changed this year from a once monthly edition to twice monthly, we have had to become more selective in our choices of feature poet, as the maximum we will include is six feature poets. I think you will find that this issue's feature poets section presents an exciting reading. Our next edition will be due in January, when you may expect some changes from the old format of PLT, we will increase our Resident poet section, amongst those who will join us is Joseph Armstad, a long time to contributor to PLT.
§ The feature poet section will lessen & one feature poet chosen by us will have a full cover page interview on their work, it is also possible we are opening up a small publication collaborated venture, which we hope will add a new aspect to PLT for the future. Meantime, enjoy this issue's excellent poetry from its contributors & residents.
