I feel very fortunate to have this chance to submit work to this outstanding magazine. I would like to extend my thanks to Sara Russell, and the support and encouragement we shared over the years.
I hope that I have grown in the years, since I have been gone. I look forward to submitting work that maintains the integrity and character of all the artists involved here

About Me:
I am 52 years old living in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I have been writing poetry most of my life, and was first published in the third grade. In recent years, I have worked with the North Carolina Poetry Society, and have edited two poetry anthologies, as well as various online publications including Poetry Life and Times (Sept 2000). I have published a small chapbook entitled "Quest...of the Plebeians", (Flamingheart Productions, 1997), and I am currently revising a collection of poems, which will also include some new prose poetry.
Since 1997, I have been hosting an open mic poetry event, at a local coffee house, which is recognized as one of the best in the State of North Carolina. I was Chairman of Membership Development for the North Carolina Poetry Society (1998 & 1999), Editor of The Ink Pad, a monthly newsletter for The Writer's Ink Guild, a local writers group (1998 -- 2001), Editor of The Bohemian Scribe, a monthly literary newsletter for The Four Finger Writers Group (1998), Fayetteville 'Slam Poetry' Champion (2000), Fayetteville Poet of the Year (2004, 2005, and 2007), and current co-host of the Tuesday Explosion, an event that uses jazz and poetry to get their expressions to the floor.
"I have a philosophy that is simple. If no one else will listen---then the page will."
